The 2-3/16" Auto-Feed magnetic drill press is in a class of its own. The drill is equipped with reverse and variable speed ideal for tapping applications. Intelligent electronics sense the hardness of the cutting material and deliver the proper feed ratio with the RPM the drill is set at. This will ensure maximum life for your HSS and/or carbide annular cutters. It is also much safer for the operator whom does not have to stand next to the operator. Speaking of safety, this drill has an integrated load sensor and will shut off the drill if to much pressure is applied by the operator. There is an indicator/display on the top of the drill to provide feedback to the operator. A powerful magnet with 4100 lbs. of holding capability ensure your drill won't move. Also, a 2 speed gearbox to ensure you are always in the proper speed. This item carries a 2 year warranty from its manufacturer (1 year automatic, 1 year additional after online registration of serial number).
